This is Japanese sword wakizashi in shirasaya . The blade is signed "Kunitake å>½æ¦", shobu-zukuri with long point shape, Muromachi period Ca.1550 era made. The blade is in old polish and in good condition. The temperline is wavy sugu-ha with nie active temper and has long turn back temper at the point. The forging grain is tight itame hada and no loose grain. T is no bend, no nicks, no crack and the cutting edge is razor sharp. The blade is rested in ho -wood shirasaya with copper habaki . It measures 15 1/8" cutting edge, 1 3/16" width, 6mm thickness at the notch and 22 1/2" in shirasaya mountings. Shipping is $10 priority in U.S and $30 overseas via express mail.
