A stunning Totai shippo,cloisonne on porcelain vase, from the Meiji Period 1868-1912. Measures inches tall.Rarely seen .Shipping UK £15,Europe £20 USA £30. Attractive multicolour turqoise and underglaze blue patterns, with flowers.This technique of mixing cloisonne with pottery /porcelain was difficult to achieve,and not always sucessful.This piece, a true work of art.Restored section to rim,well done, and small haircrack,otherwise good condition.Beautiful collectors or display piece..I will be listing several good japanese & chinese pieces,some came from Gawdy Hall, Norfolk during a sale held in 1943.Others, from the collection of a notable collector.Rare collectors piece,goodluck!
