Japanese Urushi Lacquer golden Makie fountain Pen “Plum & brunch ” This is one of the beautiful Makie fountain pen produced in Kaga in Kanazawa prefecture where one of the famous place for its good urushi lacquer and makie art. About Makie Maki-e is an ancient Japanese art that combines intricate lacquer painting with a variety of surface decorations. These traditionally include powered gold and other precious metals, gemstones, mother of pearl or abalone shell.
