Vintage Japanese Avon Rose-Morris Les Paul type guitar Superb condition - virtually unused. This model has twin humbuckers with two volume and two tone controls the same as a standard Les Paul, but the pickup selection is by way of two separate switches on the control plate as opposed to a three way switch mounted on the upper bout. The electrics are all original and in good working order. Fretwear is very minimal and the fretboard is almost like new. Tuners are firm and responsive, and the set-up is good with a medium playing action which is adjustable ( up or down ) via the wrapover bridge/tailpiece. The condition is remarkable, looking more like a three year old than it's 40 approx years.....I believe this particular model was produced and imported between 1970 and 73. There are a few small impressions in the top, one light ding on the underside edge - at the back and one or two very small chips in the top/rear edge of the headstock which can just be seen in the photographs. The soft case that comes with it is very possibly the original........ I can't guarantee that it is, but it's definitely of a similar age. It will be packed very securely for posting in my usual bomb-proof fashion. Please email with any questions or if further photographs are required.
