This is a woodblock print ,Tokaido Kanaya no Fuji, The Fuji from Kanaya on the Tokaido. This is originally made by Hokusai Katsushika ( 1760 - 1849 ) and this is published by Takamizawa, woodblock printed by hand mid. to late 1900s reprint. This is a print from " Fugaku 36 kei" an Ukiyo-e series of large, color woodblock print and the series depicts Mount Fuji in differing seasons and weather conditions from a variety of different places and distances and consists of 46 prints created between 1826 and 1833. The print comes in nice paper cover with a rectangular frame in the front and the back of front cover has description of the scenery in Japanese and English. It has very slight patina. Actual print size W 16 x 10.55 H ( 40.6 cm W x 26.8 cm H )
