20 Japanese woodblock print pentaptych by Chikanobu. Rare five-sheet from the Chiyoda palace, a royal couple sits down to an elaborate meal served by nine female attendants. Very good impression and color, mica and metallic pigments. Backed, some light creasing, two R sheets and far L with some soiling. 13 3/4" x 9 1/4" each. Published by Fukuda Hatsujiro in 1897.
