This is a Japanese WWll Kamikaze pilot suiside dagger in mountings. The blade is unsigned, shobu-zukuri shape, WWll time period ca.1940 era made blade. The blade is in WWll time original polish, shows fine scratches on surface but no rust and in good condition. The temper line is wavy gunome temper pattern throughout the blade and has deep temper at the tips. There is no bend, no nicks, no crack and cutting edge is sharp. The mountings are ho-wood with bamboo skin covered, shows aged scratches, but no crack and in good condition. The handle is tight fit and no loose. The blade measures 6" cutting edge, 1+1/8" width, 4mm thickness at the notch and 13+3/4" in mountings. Shipping is $6 priority in U.S. Payment due within 3 days auction end.
