Item description: You are bidding on an antique Japanese army sake cup, made with lacquered wood and decorated with a large anchor with a star in the center -- signifying the mix of army and navy. The words on the front are "Kanazawar Wounded Soldier Volunteer Association" and on the back, along the rim, are "First Wounded Soldier Charity Gala Performance Commemoration". This is probably made in commemoration of some performance concert to raise money for wounded soldier in the Kanazawa area, which is north of central Japan in Ishikawa prefecture. Condition: Excellent -- a spot w the gold paint on the rim is a bit chipped at 11 o'clock Size (inches in diameter): 3.25" Shipping: I am shipping from upstate New York, and I offer both first class and priority mail shipping for domestic shipments, and first class post for international. Priority mail is faster, and if you are buying a number of items, it usually makes more sense as the price difference is minimal.
