This auction is for a lot of 2 Japanese WW2 era dispatch cases. Both cases have damage and are being sold "AS IS" so please read the descriptions carefully.The large case on the left has 3 compartments, 2 in the front and 1 on the back. The front flap has a military star sewn into the leather. T are 2 pencil/pen holders on each side of the case. All of the stitching on the case is original but some of it has come loose. One of the side protectors has come off (it will be included with the case if the winner wants to make repairs). The carrying strap and one strap holder are missing. The case measures 8" X 11" X 4". The leather on this case is in pretty good condition.The smaller case on the right is in VERY POOR condition. T is so much dry rot that you can open the case from the side (see gallery photo). The carrying strap is broken but will be included. This case measures 6" X 8 1/2" X 2". Again, this case has a lot of dry rot and is in VERY POOR CONDITION. If you are looking to make repairs on a dispatch case you currently have, you might be able to find pieces out of this lot.
