Up for sale we have a Japanese WW2 bringback sword. This has a sharp blade that is signed Kanemoto from a well known line of swordsmiths. I do not see any nicks, chips, of fatal flaws, just could use a new polish. The overall length on sword is 37 1/4 inches long in the scabbard, about 36 1/2 inches out of scabbard and 27 1/2 inches from tip to tsuba. This appears to be shinshinto and the only thin I see is spots that could easily be removed from a new polish(near tip) and a split in the rayskin handle(i think). Does not have any rust or pitting!!!!! If you need more information just ask. I will require insurance on this item.
