You are bidding on an INSANELY RARE, JAPANESE WW2 TORPEDO GYROSCOPE . This a Japanese TYPE 91 MOD 3 ANTI-ROLL GYRO and is one of two gyroscopes used in this torpedo. It is in excellent condition for its age and comes with its original wooden transport box. The box and gyroscope have matching serial numbers. The gyro has a lot of different marks stamped into its metal, including the 3 diamond symbol of Mitsubishi. I have been collecting inert torpedo artifacts for many years now and the Japanese gyroscopes are by far the coolest and most impressive. The engineering that went into this piece is just spectacular in every way. Mounted inside the upper lid are some of the spare parts. The Japanese had the best torpedoes early in the war and this gyro had a lot to do with there amazing accuracy. If you have any questions, or need more photos, please let me know. Shipping in the US is $30. Shipping to Canada is $60. CONTACT ME FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE TO OTHER COUNTRIES BEFORE BIDDING. Payment due with-in 2 days of auction end, thank you.
