RARE JAPANNED 1890's 2 GAS and 2 ELECTRIC COMBO CHANDELIER w/ ETCHED SHADESThis beautiful combo fixture has the original copper flashed or "JAPANNED" finish. These are extremely rare and hard to find in this complete condition.The fixture retains its original paddle key sockets that turn freely and There are 2 gas and 3 electric acid-etched, matching shades with the torch and Fleur De Lis pattern. There are a couple of fitter nicks on the inside of the shades that are invisible when mounted. BONUS - There is an EXTRA electric shade included with purchase.The fixture still retains its original configuration with a center gas line and the electrical running alongside , and the gas arms are still connected to the gas hub and gas pipe. It could still be used as a gas light, but all connections would need to be thoroughly checked and sealed. The electric portion has been rewired and is ready to go.Also included is a modern electrical bracket so it can be mounted directly to your ceiling box if desired.The fixture looks awesome with the quality Edison bulbs and works great on a dimmer switch.The last two photos show the inner original gas hub with two sealed gas line channels.IF YOU WANT THE GAS ARMS ELECTRIFIED, I CAN DO THAT FOR $75.00.
