WHAT YOU ARE BUYING/BIDDING ON 31" Scale Model of the ORCA Fishing Boat From The Movie JAWS DESCRIPTIONATTENTION: PLEASE READ ALL OF THE ITEM DESCRIPTIONFor consideration is this INCREDIBLE, AMAZING model of the ORCA from the movie JAWS. This model is a scaled down version of the EXACT boat in the movie. In other words, if you went back in time with a shrink ray to 1975 and took one of the 2 boats they used to make the movie and shrunk it to 31" long, this would be what it looks like. For those who still don't get it. The hull is not smooth, it is beat up and paint is rubbed off just like the REAL ORCA in the movie. The movie boat was a pile of SH#T that barely ran and looked like it might sink at any moment. So...........this model looks just like that too. If you have never seen the movie JAWS, then you should either go watch it before going any farther or just move on to one of those other models that look nothing like the movie boat and buy it for $99 and I will say FAREWELL & ADIEU ;) If you are a REAL JAWS FAN and understand EXACTLY what you are buying, then read on. The artist who built this model just sold the FINAL model to be built for $1,325.00 on Ebay. You can view it in the SOLD ITEMS list. This particular model represents a certain point in the movie, just before the shark jumps aboard to chew on Mr. Quint. The shark cage is mangled from the encounter with Mr. Hooper and the shark, just like in the movie. The boom is rigged to the mast and broken, just like in the movie. The machete is stuck in the coaming, just like in the movie. The scuba tank waits for Chief Brody to cram it in the shark's mouth on the galley table, just like in the movie. The port forward cabin window is broken by the barrel, just like in the movie. The aft deck is flooded and debri floats around, just like in the movie.
