Up for auction is a lightly used English dee ring snaffle bit hand made by Jay Shuttleworth. He is well known among the top riders on the A hunter jumper circuit for his custom made bits. This bit has his popular stainless steel dee ring cheeks which measure about 4" tall. The 5-1/2" wide sweet iron mouthpiece is somewhat unusual- it has a port that is about 1-1/4" tall. The bit is stamped JKS, the mark used by Jay Shuttleworth. The bit is in good used condition showing light wear and no damage. There is some light rust on the sweet iron mouth which would be considered normal. The used hand made Jay Shuttleworth 5-1/2" dee ring snaffle bit with a port sells with no reserve and my usual low opening bid. Good luck and thank you for looking and for bidding.
