This is an opportunity to acquire the September, 1969 issue of Jazz & Pop. I admit that I am pretty uninformed when it comes to the jazz part - it's the pop that I love! If you're like me, you will want this magazine. So What's inside? The MC5 - First off, a great cover photo of the MC5. How many magazines have them on the cover? PLUS, inside is a 5 page interview conducted in the apartment of their manager Danny Fields the day after they signed their contract with Atlantic Records. This is rock history that any true fan of the MC5 will need to have. Brian Jones - a brief but insightful statement written in the immediate aftermath of his sad passing. Sample quote - "Mick Jagger sang it, Keith Richard played it but Brian Jones lived it; he was one of those people who jump into things with both feet and never cared whether what they jump into is a mud puddle of the Abyss".
