Please Note... This is a Five Day Auction...Offered for auction is this wonderful pair of Bronzed Metal Bookends, manufactured in Bridgeport, Connecticut by Jennings Brothers... The Bookends depict Indian Scouts, with their Dogs... They are extremely realistic and quite detailed... The Bookends have acquired a rich, warm patina with age (see photos)... Each Bookend measures 7" tall, is 5" wide, and has the JB #1524 mark on the back, along with the Artist's name, C. Vieth, on the side... They are in very good condition... One Bookend has a tiny split in the metal on the base edge, and a tight hairline split on the side of the base... This is only mentioned for accuracy, and is not detrimental to the items, at all... Both Bookends have had the Felt bottoms replaced... This pair of Jennings Brothers Indian Scout Bookends will be an outstanding addition to any setting, or collection...
