Up for auction is a pair of JBL XPL-90 audiophile bookshelf speakers. For you folks who know about the XPL series of speakers, then no more has to be said. This was one of the last really high end and nice sounding speakers from JBL. The XPL-90 are the smaller bookshelf models in that series. With a MSR of 699.00 a pair. The lager floor model XPL-200 is still sought after world-wide.

are some of the features: Titanium high frequency dome drivers with low dynamic compression design. Composite low frequency drivers with Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG) magnets. Time arrival corrected Reaction Molded Foam baffle. Rigidly-braced trapezoidal enclosures. Low loss, low distortion crossovers with bypass capacitors and gold-plated inputs. Internally wired with monster cable.

The XPL-90 are a 2-way with 6 ½ in bass/mid and 1 in titanium dome tweeter. Power rating is 100 watt, with a max of 400 watts. 6 ohm model. Cabinets are in a nice dark cherry wood. The pair show some minor wear. The grill cloth has a few areas that are worn, and two small cracks in the top left cabinets seems. But does not affect the sound quality. Some areas of the foam baffle has cracks(around the tweeter)

I was very delighted to listen to the pair. Nice tight bass for this size of speaker….mids and highs are crisp and have a nice sound stage . is your chance to bid on a pair of JBLs you do not see to often .These speakers are not light, 20 lbs each over 40 lbs boxed for shipping..Shipping is 49.95 USA 48 states, which includes insurance.
