Jean-Claude Novaro Splendid Cobalt Blue Hand Blown Art Glass Vase signed by Jean Claude Novaro 1998. Born in Antibes in 1943 he is a Master of Glass ( Maitre Verrier). At the age of 14 he entered the Eloi Monod glass artisan glassmaker in Biot. In 1977 he opened his own studio with his wife and has been independent since that time. For nearly 50 years he has perfected the art of creating glass sculpture. Novaro has become a world renowned artist not only for his technical mastery and innovation but also for his technique. His work appears in glass museums all over the world, in countries such as his native France, the United States, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Australia and Japan. His work is collected by thousands world-wide, including entertainer Bill Cosby, Frank and Barbara Sinatra and many more. All of his creations are unique.
