GREETINGS! and GOOD DAY! and WELCOME TO MY AUCTION. This is for a verrrrry special and BREATHTAKINGLY beautiful, sparkly, firey, glistening, clear, top quality, approximate 1 carat mine cut round genuine diamond set in a hexagon bombe etched, chased design with platinum top, which displays exquisite cut out work and filigree around the perfect stone and shoulders of the ring which are done in white gold. The diamond is original to the setting. It even has the tiniest milgrain detail around the hexagon! SO EXQUISITE!!! It is stamped Plat top. I think it is around a size 6. I cannot be exactly sure as I do not have a ring sizer. Sorry. To top it off, this ring once belonged to the late stunning blonde bombshell - one and only -JEAN HARLOW movie/screen star, sex kitten, siren of a by-gone era. I purchased this ring in Hollywood California around 30 years ago from a gentleman who told me that he could not have this ring in the auction that they were doing that day because the ring was without documentation- but that indeed it was Ms. Harlow's. IT WAS MY LUCKY DAY!!! I purchased the ring believing this to be true since the first time I handled it and tried it on. It was the most gorgeous ring that I had ever seen and it still is (it almost spoke to me and put me in a trance like state), from that moment, I knew that I must have it! And I also do believe that this ring is very haunted as I have encountered much paranormal activity throughout the years, I have caught glimpses of a woman (Jean) that manifests and dissappears very quickly and leaves a scent of a strong, strange, flowery perfume, nothing that I have ever smelled before in this time and space, as well as a musty cigarette smell and no one smokes around and never has, my friend who was a disbeliever told me that he actually heard a woman calling his name and it really freaked him out and he saw a beautiful lady out of the corner of his eye, but he described her as out of another era, this is Jean alright I told him. she likes to ever so gently tap on one particular wall late at night and play with the television, turning it on and off as well as with the lights. I often hear a joyful and playful laughter, possibly the playful and whimsical Jean before she fell tragically ill with her painful afflication and ultimate and untimely death which came way before her time. I am so used to all this stuff that I almost expect it and welcome it nowadays. I was told by a spiritualist /medium that the ring was a LIGHT SOURCE so to speak for Jean and possibly her mom because she was very attached to the ring and told me that she saw that Jean actually took her last breaths (died) with the ring on her finger, (this really freaked me out) she said that she felt that Jean would have wanted to be buried with this ring and that somehow it was removed and that she appeared disturbed and saddened and not understanding why her precious ring seemed to drift in and out of peoples hands, how unfortunate and sad. All for greed and money is what the spiritualist told me. And I have had several psychics confirm that they have seen Jean as well as her mother "appearing" near the ring. One psychic told me that she believed that this ring was a gift for Jean from her dear and beloved mother whom she adored. Ironically, Jean would have probably lived if her mother had allowed her to get the appropriate medical attention she needed. Her mother believed in some sort of faith healing type religion which unfortunately did not work for poor Jean. I could go on and on and on about all the years of strange happenings but one needs to understand that each persons experiences may be different and unique and may also manifest sooner or later than others, and more frequent or infrequent etc. etc. etc. Why this is the case I do not know, but this is how it is.
