This is a very rare & hard to find life cast of the British Actress Jean Simmons 1/31/1929- 1/22/2010. This casting is made out of sturdy white Hydrocal plaster, with a metal loop attached to the back ready to hang on the wall. It was cast out of the original mold from the movie and television industries. As you can see from the photos, the surface detail is amazing, it is truly a great casting off of the actress's face. This casting is a 3/4 Life Cast, meaning the casting goes all the way behind the ears, almost a full head life cast. Since the mold was taken directly off the actress's face, the casting is life size, or 1:1. Many times they would take life casts off the actor's or actress's faces to try different make-ups with different lighting, so the actor's and actress's didn't have to sit around for the hours it took to get it done.*I have a Life Cast collection of over 250 celebrities, Movie & Television Stars, and historical greats such as Abe Lincoln, George Washington ETC.
