Ansel Adams was one of the first photographers that came out with "Special Edition" photographs in the 1950's. It was a way (and still is) that you could buy an original silver gelatin photograph and not have to pay the higher prices for one printed and signed by him. Jeff Nixon is another of the greats that has followed now in Ansel's footsteps, although Jeff is signing his.As some of you might know Jeff has had a few obstacles come his way in recent years. One of which now is he is without a darkroom. I have had arranged to have some of his great images over the last 30+ years get printed under his supervision (like Ansel did) and will be offering them here on eBay and on my website.
