This is a replica of a knife, which was made during the 1600 and 1800's for skinning as trading goods to the Native Americans. This knife is made from Hi-Carbon 1095 steel. The knife measures 10" in length, blade length is 5 1/2", blade width is 1 1/2", and thickness is 3/32". The handle is made of curley maple wood and is fastened with three brass rivets. These knives are made by bladesmith Jeff White , who specialize in all forms of cutting edge blades. Jeff has been making knives for over twenty years. Anyone that has ever bought one of his knives know what kind of great value they are. I personally know jeff and I am helping him market his knives.
