Item Photos - free eBay image hosting You are bidding on an LP. Jefferson Airplane – Flight Log, very good condition cover and very good++ vinyl (see notes below). The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment. First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below). The LP comes in a gatefold textured/embossed cover with a 12 page booklet and inner sleeves The gatefold cover is still in very good condition with some light creasing/scuffing and light edge wear/spine wear. The cover has a 'import' sticker and import cut mark through the sleeve on the bottom left hand side. The booklet (see album notes below) is in excellent condition with minimal sign of creasing. The inner sleeves are in good condition with some creasing and seam splits. The vinyl has 1st press matrix numbers (see below). The labels are in excellent condition. The vinyl looks very good++, really bright and clean and unmarked apart from light surface marks. Playback is superb with virtually no surface noise except some light crackle in places. This is a really nice well looked after copy.Album notes:Flight Log (1966-1976) is a compilation of Jefferson Airplane and Airplane-related tracks, including tracks by Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna, as well as solo tracks by Paul Kantner, Grace Slick, and Jorma Kaukonen. Although primarily a compilation album, the album includes one previously unreleased song, "Please Come Back" written by Ron Nagle and performed by Jefferson Starship. "Please Come Back" is unavailable on any other release.Among the session musicians featured on the album are two members of the Grateful Dead and one member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. David Crosby appears on one track, and Jerry Garcia plays on three tracks, two of which also feature Mickey Hart.The original album included a lavish 12-page full-color, full-size (12 sq.in.) booklet, containing photographs of the band throughout the period covered by the compilation. It also contained a detailed history of the band, written by Patrick Snyder of Rolling Stone magazine.
