THE MOTOR HAS BEEN OILED BUT STILL MAKES A FAINT TICKING NOISE AS IT PULLS THE CHAIN THROUGH ITS GEARS.see the web page below for additional information about this wonderful Jefferson Mystery Clock!GREAT DECO LOOK! THE LUCITE FACE OF THE CLOCK CLOCK HANGS FROM A CHAIN. VERY DIFFERENT AND VERY COOL TO WATCH IT WORK.MINOR WEAR TO THE GOLD FINISH AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS WHICH IS NOT UNCOMMON FOR JEFFERSON CLOCKS OF THIS AGE. /jeffers/jefsusp.htm THIS A VERY HEAVY CLOCK, I ESTIMATE THAT IT WILL WEIGH APPROXIMATELY 14 POUNDS WHEN PACKED SECURELY.
