For your consideration is a wonderful example of an Art Deco era clock. Catalog # 580-101. Known as the "mystery clock" due to the hands floating in mid air via a gin clear crystal support. I plugged the clock in for a couple of hours and it keeps good time. Crystal is perfectly clear. It has the original power chord but it will need replaced or repaired as it is beginning to wear at the plug and the clock base where it enters the case. The hands do glow in the dark but not brightly and the numbers do not glow at all. The phosphorus paint seems to have lost its light retention. Not surprising for a clock of this age. The brass cold use polishing but I will leave that up to the new owner. Other than needing polished, the brass is in perfect condition with no pitting whatsoever. This clock must have been well cared for. It has excellent shelf appeal and will look wonderful on your desk or mantel. Thanks for stopping by. Payment is expected within 3 days the auctions conclusion.
