VIEWING PROBABLY ONE OF THE RAREST CAST BELLS TO DATE. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JENNY MANNING CAST IRON SCHOOL BELL THAT DATES TO THE MIDDLE 1800's. YOU CAN GOOGLE THIS BELL AND WITH A LITTLE SEARCH YOU CAN FIND JUST HOW RARE THIS BELL IS.I READ THE HISTORY ON THESE BELLS YEARS AGO AND IT SEEMS THAT THE JENNY MANNING WAS A SCHOOL TEACHERS NAME THAT HAD SCHOOL BELL CAST AFTER HER NAME IN THE 1800's AND VERY FEW IF ANY HAS SURVIVED. THE BELLS WERE KNOWN FOR THEIR EXTREMELY WIDE FLARE MOUTH AND DEAFENING RING WITH THEIR SOFTBALL SIZE CLAPPER (WHICH IS SHOWN AND ORIGINAL). THE BELL COMES WITH ONLY WHAT YOU SEE IN THE IMAGES AND ANY UPRIGHT FOR A NUMBER 3 BELL WILL FIT THIS BELL. THE CLAPPER NEEDS A HANGER ROD AND THATS IT!! THE HEIGHT OF THE BELL IS APPX. 13 1/2" TALL WITH THE MOUTH DIAMETER APPX. 15 3/4". THE ROPE PULL AND YOKE ARE ONE SOLID MOLDED CAST....WHICH YOU NEVER SEE ON BELLS. I ALWAYS ACCEPT BUY IT NOW OFFERS ON THESE BELLS. PLEASE EMAIL FOR MORE ACCURATE SHIPPING QUOTE. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK....IF NO INTEREST IS SHOWN EARLY INTO THE SALE, THEN I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY..
