This 1987 Grateful Dead In The Dark Album was signed by Jerry Garcia & Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead before their 1989 concert at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia which is long gone now. It was the last show held at JFK because the old outdoor venue was actually crumbling. I remember quickly meeting Jerry & Bobby and we never got to meet the other members of the group. I scrambled for something for them to sign backstage and a cool member of the stage crew tore out a paper from a book and gave it to me but this LP belongs to my best friend Jimmy who asked me to sell it for him after I told him I sold the paper I got signed by Jerry Garcia & Bob Weir. The Album is Autographed inside the gatefold beautifully next to their pictures. I remember watching the concert dead center right in the front, just staring at Jerry as he performed and it was such a peaceful atmosphere with no one pushing and shoving and it was like living in 1969 again with hippy people high on drugs. I remember their hit song "Touch Of Gray" was big at the time and I remember being given a T-Shirt with The Grateful Dead on the front and the Batman Logo on the back and couldn't figure out the connection between the two but I wish I still had that shirt!
