You are bidding on a very nice Paul Winchell’s Jerry Mahoney Ventriloquist Doll. This doll, from the Juro Novelty Co., NY, NY dates from the 1950/60’s. Jerry has a plastic head, hands and shoes, with a stuffed body. Doll is 36” tall. The mouth works with a pull-string. There is a small issue with the mouth on how it is attached in the head. When the string is pulled the mouth tends not to go back to the closed position. Easily fixed?? Jerry is nicely dressed in a green and white suit, red polka-dot bowtie. All clothing is in very good condition. The doll is in very good condition overall. Comes in the original box, which has a lot of wear (20” long, 12” wide and 6” tall). Your purchase also includes the original “How to be a Ventriloquist” brochure by Paul Winchell, which includes a biography of Paul Winchell and a history of ventriloquism. Brochure is in excellent condition.
