Hello, is an absolutely beautiful pair of handmade spurs by one of the best makers out t I collect spurs and have had these for several years . I won some spurs on auction and need to sell these to pay for them. I can honestly say that this is the nicest pair of contemporary spurs that I have owned and I have had Pollard's , Hall's , Evans, Lopez, Castleberry 's you name it. You will not be disappointed with these spurs and they would make a great Christmas present. These spurs are double mounted. They remind me of the Crockett style and the engraving is unbelievable. The rowell and pin covers are even engraved. These have an approx. 3 1/4" heel opening, an approx. 2 3/8" shank, 2 7/16" rowels that are hand engraved on both sides. The strap buttons on one side are engraved in the same pattern as the large engraved button on the heel bands and are larger than the other side that matches the three spots on the other side. Spurs are marked "JW" and are guaranteed authentic. One of the larger engraved strap buttons has a small dent in it that I have no idea how or when it happened as these have never been worn but it definitely does not subtract from the beauty of these spurs and I only mention for accuracy.
