QUIETNESS AND SOLITUDE FILL THE LANDSCAPE PORTRAIT OF A FISHERMAN AT THE RAPIDS This lovely waterfall scene is a lovely picture capturing the essence of the spraying water of the waterfall. The beautifully detailed sun highlighted rocks border one side of the water while the approaching grey skies tone the rocks on the other side presenting a very naturalistic approach. The solitary fisherman perched on the rocks adds to the gentle feeling of solitude. The colors of the autumn foliage add touches of warmth to this watercolor. A beautiful gentle watercolor.
