Selling this original jeweler's regulator pinwheel escapement precision regulator with everything except the huge wood case. This auction includes the movement, porcelain dial, lyre gridiron pendlulum rod, huge 13 inch heavy pendulum bob and the original weight. This also has the sweep seconds hand that goes on the center shaft. It is included but is not the orginal. A winding crank is also with it. This is the ones used in most American jeweler's regulators and looks to be Swiss. It is of the best quality, heavily built and you just have to hear one of these running to truly appreciate their quality. This is another one dug from an old clock shop and will need some elbow grease to clean up the pendulum and rod assembly. The movement is complete and would run if put in use now. If you have a case for this one it will be a $5000 clock these days. The porcelain dial is 11 inches across, the entire dial and bezel is 13 3/4 inches, the movment box is 6 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall. The pendulum rod as shown ( it is mounted on a board to prevent damage.) is 39 inches long and the drop from the box to the tip of the pendulum rod is approx. 43 inches. It has maintaining power and is first rate quality. No markings on the movement which is normal. Shipping will be between $70 and $100 depending on location. Disregard any e-bay shipping cost. This is a heavy movment and to ship it safely will require two or three boxes that increase cost. This is a 3-day auction with no reserve as usual.
