This was the memorial album prepared by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas for those who would have attended "The Texas Welcome" Dinner in Austin scheduled for November 23, 1963 in honor of President and Mrs# John F# Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs# Lyndon B# Johnson# The LP was produced in very limited quantities for distribution only to those individuals that had purchased tickets to the dinner# This album has been in my family since 1963, as my parents were to attend that dinner# The LP has never been played or taken out of its cover# The product is in Excellent/Pristine condition# Inside the album cover includes the original recordings for the three Texas speeches of President Kennedy and a one sheet souvenir program from the event#
