THE JIM BAMBER COLLECTION AUSSIE 'HEROES' Jamie Whincup (888) Holden V8 Supercar - Limited Edition of 300 Jim Bamber has released his first models in a new range celebrating his 'Aussie Heroes' in the fantastic Australian V8 Championship. Produced with the kind permission of Triple Eight Race Engineering and supporting the Australian Motor Sport Foundation with a royalty on every sale, the models are in tribute to Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes in their fabulous Triple Eight `Team Vodafone` Holdens. Just 300 of each driver edition are being produced which, given that they are Jim’s first ever pieces in his `Aussie` collection, is sure to make them a hit with collectors. Jamie had a tough start to his V8 Supercar career in 2003 and he did not start to make his mark on the series until 2005. Some great drives in that year earned him a seat with Triple Eight in 2006 and he has not looked back since. In a particularly successful phase, he led the championship week in and week out, for over two years. To date, he has won the Championship three times and had three Bathurst 1000 wins.
