JIM BEAM 1973 VW BUG VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE BLUE. The License Plate on rear deck lid (Y3624) was never "Warranty" registered with Beam! You are led to believe that this plate was individual to each Bug (and they may be!) Great marketing tool from Beam to gather list of collectors! It is a copyright creation of the James B. Beam Distilling Co. and handcrafted of Genuine Regal China in 1973. This bottle stands 5.76" tall, 15" long, 6.1" wide, and weighs almost 4 lbs full. The seal has been broken but the car still contains its original contents. (See important shipping info below) The VW is in excellent condition. There is no damage or wear to the bottle or to the chrome but each fender has a very small surface rub from the packaging and from being displayed for all those. but otherwise it is in excellent condition. The bottle has moving wheels and the back opens to reach the cork! The side of the bottle has the Beam label that reads Genuine Regal China, Handcrafted, 86 proof, 100 months old, 4/5ths quart, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled by James B. Beam Distilling Co. Clearmont-Beam Kentucky. Shipping & handling & insurance is $16.00 for the 6lb package, BUT, after winning the auction, you may make a written request via email for us to open the bottle and dispose of the contents prior to shipping. It will save $2.00 on freight. Most bottle collectors will tell you that the contents do not improve the value of the decanter and we are selling the bottle and not the contents. 1052/060
