I am the original owner of this Jim Beam Volkswagen decanter that was produced in 1973. This decanter has been displayed on my bookcase along with my other Beam decanters for many years. The decanter is still full and the seal has not been broken. The rear license plate number is A 4558. The decanter is in excellent condition with no broken or missing parts. It does not come with the original box.

Since the decanter still contains 80 proof Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey I must advise you of the following:

Â· The value of the auctioned item is in the collectible container, not its contents.

Â· The container has not been opened, but any incidental contents are not intended for consumption.

Â· This item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container.

Â· As the seller, I will take steps to ensure that the buyer of this collectible container is of lawful age in the buyer and seller's jurisdiction (generally 21 years old) and that I am in compliance with any and all applicable laws and shipping regulations in carrying out the transaction.

I have all 5 of my Jim Beam car decanters listed, since I will be down sizing my residence in the very near future. The other 4 decanters available are a 1904 Oldsmobile, Model T Ford, Olsonite Eagle Race Car and a Thomas Flyer. I have them listed in other auctions if you are interested. One of the photos shows all five decanters together.
