JIM BEAM MEPHISTOPHELES DECANTER, BASE & PAPERWEIGHT We have recently acquired a fabulous collection of vintage Jim Beam decanters. We will be listing them over the next several weeks. The original owner of this collection traveled to many conventions and accumulated one of the largest collections in the area. This auction is for the hard to find Mephistopheles musical decanter. It was the fourth of the Opera Series to benefit the Chicago Opera. It includes the base and matching paperweight. Both pieces are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or flea bites. The music box is in working condition. The back of the decanter is marked Creation of James B. Beam Distilling Co.. Genuine Regal China 1978 Regal China Corp. It is numbered on the back A-184. The paperweight is dated 1980. Please scroll down to see pictures. The decanter has been emptied so there would be no chance of leakage in shipping. The cap will be unattached but can be set on the decanter for display. We are listing several other Opera series pieces at this time. Winning bidder pays shipping costs via USPS from zip code 44070. No handling charges. Insurance is required on all breakable items and recommended in case of loss or damage.
