Made of solid stone resin. Disney Traditions Approx. Size: 4 1/2"T . JIM SHORE , a native of South Carolina, Jim Shore utilizes his skills as a portaitist, sculptor and folk artist to create his uniquie and creative collection for Enesco Home Gallery. His current collection, Heartwood Creek, combines tabletop and figurines to create a charming and innovative American country decor statement. A self-taught artist, SHORE worked as an engineer before turning his full attention to art. He has painted in a varity of media including watercolor and egg tempura, a technique made popular by artist Andrew Wyeth and Bob Timberlake. SHORE has also perfected his technique in silver and goldsmithing, wood carving, stained glass, furniture making and sculpting in stone. This collection combine folk art appeal with the authentic quilt designs to create rich, colorful figurines and accessories. Each figurine feature a hang tag or title that tells a story to add an additional dimension of quality to the line. This beautiful stone resin figurine would also make a wonderful gift. The figurine is new in original box and is removed only to inspect upon arrival.
