Jim Valentino's SHADOWHAWK: OUT OF THE SHADOWS TPB Signed & Numbered Limited Edition Hardcover (Graphitti Designs / Image Comics • 1993) Limited edition hardcover collection of "Shadowhawk" vol 1, issues 1-4, this book is signed & numbered by Jim Valentino, writer and illustrator. This was a groundbreaking series, featuring the first ever black superhero to have AIDS, & although I think they stopped short of making him gay, they continued to pile a heap of injustice on his @$$ throughout the series, all the way up to killing him with the HIV in the end.It is a pretty low number, #468 of a 5000 limitation.
