The holy grail of Rock N Roll autographs. I have looked for over 20 years to find a 100% real documented Jimi Hendrix autograph. This autograph continues to climb in value and is a great investment due to rarity. This is a hand signed Jimi Hendrix autograph with inscription "Be Kool to Bob - Jimi Hendrix". This is one of a kind! This autograph has been fully authenticated through THREE of the BEST authenticators in the world. PSA/DNA, JSA James Spence Authentication and REAL from Roger Epperson. This autograph is framed in four different suede mats in silver shadowbox frame. The glass is very expensive conservation museum quality glass to protect the signature from light and fading. This Hendrix display includes: One 10" hand made mini 1967 Fender Strat electric guitar from the Monterey Pop Festival, one 10" 1967 psychadelic Flying V (that Jimi had hand painted himself on the original) from 67/68 Paris Tour, one 10" strat of the burned version guitar from the Monterey Pop Festival and one 10" Fender Strat Psychadelic guitar.An original ticket from WOODSTOCK Sunday August 17, 1969 with full letter of authenticity from George A Galgay who was the former sales manager. He guarantees the ticket was printed at his Boston , MA plant. The ticket has some water damaged at the bottom of the ticket which make the ticket even coller in my opinion. An original PEACE SIGN necklace/pendant that was made from the ACTUAL FENCE that surrounded the Woodstock Festival on August 15, 16, 17 1969. SO HERE'S THE STORY from Bob Cummings who obtained theautograph: In the summer of 1967, I saw Jimi Hendrix, at Cafe Au Go Go, in Greenwich Village. Before the show even started I got two autographs and a photo of Jimi. So how does a High School senior from the burbs, who thinks he's kool, but the truth is probably somewhere else, end up chatting with Jimi Hendrix, backstage at a music club that's in the basement, in the Village, with Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention performing on the floor above? During that summer my friends and I would take a 30 minute train ride into the city and see some incredible musicians. Besides Jimi, I saw Cream, Traffic, Richie Havens, The Who (by the way, I have Keith Moon's drum stick that was thrown into the audience at Fillmore East, but couldn't put that up for auction as belonging to him, who'd believe it, it looks like any other drum stick that's been rocked and rolled, unless someone's got some Moon DNA hanging around;) My friends and I lucked out and we got front row seats, where the stage was about the size of 7 Vox speakers on their side. We're talking tiny. I had brought my camera and told my friends that I'd be right back. I walked to the side of the stage, where a small curtain hanging halfway down was the super-security enforcer;) I pushed the curtain aside and walked through. Sitting on a bench was Richie Havens (the opening act) tuning his guitar. I asked him if I could take his photo and he said, yes. I thanked him and continued to the next room where Jimi Hendrix was standing by himself. I said hello to him, and asked if I could take his picture, he said sure. I took his picture with my trusty 35mm Konica camera, and then asked if I could have his autograph. I just happened to have a rock magazine with an article about him, which he signed.
