ABOUT THIS PHOTOGRAPH A B-25 bomber takes-off from the U.S.S. Hornet in the Pacific as part of the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo. James "Jimmy" Doolittle lead this first raid against Japan by flying the first of 16 bombers off of an aircraft carrier and by flying only one way, ditching their aircraft in China. PHOTOGRAPHER / CREDIT: U.S. Navy DATE: April 18, 1942 This photograph is produced from the highest quality print, negative, or digital file available from the credited source. We have spotted out distracting dust and scratches and each print is custom color corrected, so you'll receive the best looking print possible. Our photographs are only printed on the highest quality traditional chemically processed archival RC photo papers available (currently use both Fuji Crystal Archive and Kodak Endura papers) and we guarantee that the quality of our reproductions exceed all others on the market. Every image is different and requires it's own hands on attention, and the fact that Robert and his assistant print master, Britney, are both accomplished photographers themselves makes a difference. 3. We let you know when your prints ship (1-3 business days for most orders), can do custom work and expedited shipping on request, and can be contacted Monday through Friday 9am-6pm EST at or via email at (if it's urgent, please call, as we aim to reply to emails the same business day, but that isn't always a reality). 4.
