T are 3 photos , they might take a few seconds to load This is a Jimmy Lee Sudduth Flower Basket painted with Alabama Mud Paint and I think a little bit of acrylic on a wood board. We bought this from a dealer/gallery out of Florida who does Folk Fest and has repped many well known folk artist. I believe it was called the Sunrise Gallery. We have owned it for about six or seven years. It was unique because it was all or mostly mud paint as opposed to many Sudduth's, especially later ones, done with a good bit of acrylic paint. We're not sure how old this one is, but believe it is a bit older than most of the ones you see. It has been kept in the attic for 5 years and is still looks the way it did when we bought it. I love the subtle touch of green around the edge of the basket. Sudduth was great at using color. The painting is unframed but has a hanger on the back. We are relocating and going through a bunch of stuff. We also have a nice John Toney on wood this week and a signed Daniel Johnston CD from Folk Fest in Atlanta '08. Also other things like records and guitars so check out our other auctions as we list them. USPS Priority Shipping and Handling in the U.S.A is $15.00. The painting will be securely bubble wrap and boxed. The shipping includes Delivery Confirmation. We will ship to some countries over seas for a flat rate read more
