JL Moller chairs You are bidding on a set of original mid century Danish Modern chairs. Marked JL Moller. Beautiful teak wood. Lightweight but sturdy with a timeless style and elegant class. A very sought after design. Chairs are in overall excellent condition. One chair leg was broke and repaired rather crudely, yet effectively. I gave the repaired chair the "sit test" and it seems solid. All the chairs are structurally solid, nice and tight. T are some light nicks and scratches mostly on the lower legs as you might imagine, but only one scuff that is noticeable enough to show up in the full on photos. This set includes a seldom seen captains chair with arms. The captains chair also appears to have been repaired at the armrest - looks like it broke cleanly on outside seam but not so on the inside. I included closer photos of the two repaired chairs so you can get a good look. The chairs are not mint, but in excellent shape for being 50+ years old. The seats are all good with no rips or tears. The foam inside has degraded at leg lines, I considered recovering these for auction but decided new owner will choose his own fabric instead. You get them just as I did, fresh from the estate. As you can see in the later picture, these chairs will stack for easy storage (except captains chair) and are a work of art even in that capacity! read more
