A Joan Crawford Group of Signed Letters, 1960s-1970s. Three notes, all typed on personalized notepaper, including: 1) sent to JW and family in Encino, CA, dated "January 4, 1965," reading in part "I am / glad the past year is over and your / illness with it," signed in blue ballpoint ink in the lower right corner "Joan," with original transmittal envelope; 2) sent to JW and Pilar in Newport Beach, CA, dated "January 9, 1969," reading in part "Thank you so much for the / lovely New Year's telegram," signed in same manner; with original transmittal envelope; 3) sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "February 3, 1970," reading in part "Thank you so much for presenting me / with the Cecil B. de Mille Award last / night. / ...I was so touched by that / deliciously small-boy smile," signed in same manner; with original transmittal envelope; also included: 1) a small note handwritten in blue ballpoint ink by Crawford reading in part "Duke - you are / a dream boat... / P.S. you are on / last page" -- referring to the June 1969 issue of 'Pepsi-Cola World' magazine where the note is paperclipped; 2) a program from the June 24, 1977 tribute to Crawford that Wayne took part in; and 3) a three page typed speech that Wayne gave at that tribute.Various Sizes Grade: 0, Service No.: 0
