This is a full-size Joe Medwick signature model glove measuring just over 9 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide. It is a split-finger glove with thick stubby fingers and a web made of two separate leather strips laced across the fingers. There is a large bold Joe Medwick signature with his name also in large block letters. In the palm is printed "Greased Palm Cowhide" with a circular logo which reads "Kaufmann's Everything for Sports" The model number G54 RH is printed at the bottom edge. The signature and most of the other printing has the original silver lettering. All the writing is clear and bold. The back of the glove has a silver buckle which is in perfect condition with both straps secure. There are no ink marks and there are no broken or worn edge trim, laces or stitching. The leather is smooth and soft inside and out. No repair or restoration. The glove fits on the right hand for a left hand thrower. A nice example of an adult size high quality 1930's glove. Joe "Ducky" Medwick was a Hall of Fame outfielder with the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants and Boston Braves who won the Triple Crown in 1937.
