This auction is for an exceptional Catawba Valley North Carolina Face Jug made by Joe Reinhardt of Vale, NC. This Handled Face Jug stands 8 1/2" tall and is a super green tobacco glaze color with beautiful glazed mottling. This jug has Joe's traditional facial expression and is really a cool size jug and is a really super green color. Joe doesn't make much pottery anymore and this one is from 2003 so it's an older piece. Signed one the base with the following, Joe Reinhardt Vale NC 2:57pm 3-19-2003 Some Fool forgot to sign me. As seen in the pictures, the piece is in exceptional condition, no chips or cracks. If you collect Catawba Pottery and don't have one, this will be a great addition. I am adding a flat shipping charge of $10 for shipping and insurance. I will double box the piece. If you have any questions about this piece or would like additional pictures please ask. I live in the heart of the North Carolina Catawba Valley Potters and have been collesting Catawba Pottery for quite some time. The opening bid is less than I paid for it.
