Offered with no reserve is a remarkable and extremely rare volume, the highly desirable first edition of the ‘Works’ of John Bunyan, printed in folio at London by William Marshall in 1692, the only folio edition of any of Bunyan’s works printed during the 17th century, as well as the only collected edition of Bunyan’s works printed during the 17th century, adorned with a fine double-page folding engraved ‘Mapp Shewing the Order & Causes of Salvation and Damnation,’ comprising fully 20 different works, 10 of which were published for the first time in this volume, and bound in full 20th century brown morocco.
