John Cary 19th Century Brass 3 draw Leather Cased Telescope This BrassThree Draw Telescope is inscribed CARY, 181 Strand London. Cary was at these Premises from 1791 until 1820, so this Scope is around 200 years old. Cary was famous for Map and Globe design. At around 200 years old, this scope is in remarkable condition, in its original leather case, split at seems, but still has lens cover. There are a few dinks on the first draw, and the eye piece, but in usable condition, but for something this rare, must surely be a collectors piece. Cary Telescopes and Binoculars do not come up very often for auction, just look on other sites to see how rare these are. Thanks for looking
