John Deacons Faceted Glass Paperweight Purple Flower Lampwork on Upset Muslin A lovely stylised purple flower with yellow element in the middle, and green leaves. Set on a base of white upset muslin work and encased in a clear glass dome. The dome has a large facet on the top and in two rows around the side and base to give a different visual of the lampwork in all directions. There is a signature John Deacons ''J' cane near the base of the flowers on the top side of the paperweight. This is a signature cane used whilst the J Glass company was in operation around 1978 to 1983 These paperweight were made in limited numbers of a maximum of 101, so a quite rare and collectable paperweight. The paperweight is in very good condition. There is a very tiny chip at the bottom of the first ring of facets, and I mention this only for completeness as it's quite hard to spot and in no way detracts from this lovely paperweight.
