Up for bid is a Authentic Reproduction of a Old time Favorite Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. It's Called "THE JOHN DEERE BANK" It features a man working on an Anvil, pounding with his hammer The way it works is : You place your coin just inside the top of the advil w a coin slot is located, Then to activate the Bank,You push down on a metal lever located just behind the man's left leg. As you push the lever down. The action begins. The man right arm comes down, pounding down on the coin with his hammer, driving the coin into the Bank. Coins are retrieved by removing the coin plug located on the bottom of the Bank.(see pictures). It measures 8-3/4 inches long by 4-5/8 inches high. It measures 9-3/4 inches high and the base is 4-5/8 inches square. This Bank has been well cared for and is in "Excellent Display Conditon". All of its mechanical parts work Perfectly.This is a heavy item, due to its Solid Cast Iron. Weighs close to 5 pounds.
