This listing features a 5 gallon gas or oil can. On the side of the green can, it reads John Deere Dealer in yellow print. Through the years the print has become faded, but it is still legible. In all of my years of farming and collecting, I have never seen a can quite like this one. The large top opening measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter, possibly to enable easier filling with oil?. The wooden handle is still t and has no cracks. The wire bail is still in the proper shape. The spout cap is still t as well. For it's age, and the way cans are banged around, it is in good shape. T are a few small dents and some paint loss,but it still displays nicely. I cannot see any holes in the can, so I do not believe that it leaks, but I have not tested it with liquid. This old can would make a wonderful addition to any can, or John Deere collection. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I only charge actual shipping.
